Bubba is home now

I brought Bubba home from the hospital a bit ago. One of the tests they did on him was called a Polysomnography. It records a variety of body functions during sleep, including electrical activity of the brain, eye movement, muscle activity, heart rate, breathing, air flow through the nose and mouth, and blood oxygen levels.Also this test checks for possible seizures during your sleep as well.

The tests showed Bubba has what is called Moderate apnea. There is Mild... Moderate and Severe.. Moderate apnea is defined as 15 to 30 episodes of apnea or reduced airflow to the lungs every hour with 80% to 85% oxygen saturation. Bubba fell into the 20 -25 episode area in a one hour period.

After seeing he did indeed have Apnea he hooked Bubba up to a (CPAP) (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) which is a machine worn at night which increases air pressure in the throat, keeping tissues in the airway from collapsing when Bubba inhales. It delivers air through a mask that covers the nose and mouth. The technician said that although he fell into the moderate area he need very little air to keep the airway open.

So now we wait for his Doctor to get the full report and order a machine for him to use at home.

Prayer Please

~~~♥ ♥ ♥~~~As many of you know Bubba has not been feeling well since his treatments and such since surgery 2 months ago. He went to the Dr yesterday she ran a couple of blood tests. The hospital called a bit ago and the Dr wishes him to be put in the hospital overnight for further tests and study. So I will be taking him to the hospital later today to be admitted for an overnight stay for tests. Please keep him in your prayers while in the hospital and away from his Mama.. (harder on me than him) cause he will be sleeping as I lay awake worrying.....~~~♥ ♥ ♥~~~Thank you Hugs
Hello Friends
Well it is Friday hope you all had a good week. Bubba has not felt well this week been kind of a rough week for him... Physically and Emotionally.. I had to pick him up from school 2 days this week. His teacher always keeps me posted on how he is feeling and she called me a bit ago and said Ms. Judy I think you need to pick him up. Said he was feeling weak and he was pale. So I went and got him. He came home and put on his jammies and went to bed.
Last night Andrea brought Elijah over with Bralyn (Bralyn is Elijah's big sister) Elijah is the baby at the church here in Alva that Bubba adopted as his nephew. He was born last July. He couldn't come over on Aaron's BD cause he was throwing up. So, Andrea brought him last night and brought Aaron a Toby Keith CD for his BD.
Elijah can always get a smile to Bubba's face.. they are buddies for sure. He is so good with babies and little ones. He keeps begging me to have another daycare. Ha!
Here are a few pictures I took last night..
Look Uncle Aaron how big I am getting!
A new beginning.. Welcome Mr. Cooper
My sweet sweet Patrice had Cooper last night.Patrice is the daughter that God forgot to give me. (smile)... Pat was so sweet she kept texting me while Patrice was in labor letting me know how dilated she was and what was going on. Then she texted me when he arrived. He and Patrice are doing great. I am so thrilled for Ben and Patrice and also thrilled for Nathan he will have a little brother now to play with. How exciting for them all. Just wish I was close enough to spoil the heck out of him. (smile) I will have to do it from afar for a while I guess. But am so happy to be called Gramma Judy. And of course Uncle Aaron was so very excited this morning. He knew she was in labor last night before he went to bed. First thing he asked when he got up am I am Uncle again yet? Did Patrice have the baby? So he went to school very excited and I am sure today he will tell anyone who will listen to him his sister, Patrice had the baby last night.
I love you all and thank you for keeping us up to date on everything and keeping us in the loop and in YOUR FAMILY. Love you and miss you ALL and I LOVE MY NEW grandson Mr. Cooper. HUGS to you ALL
What a great Big Brother Nathan is going to be... Just love him to pieces..
Update on Bubba
Aaron has been doing pretty good been able to stay in school most days. Had to pick him early one day last week but for the most part doing good. I am so very proud of him. Even with his surgeries and all he has remained in good spirits most of the time. He is such an awesome kid. I cannot believe that he will be 17 in just one more week. My baby is a Handsome young man whom I am quite proud of. Amazing all the things he has overcome and learned to adapt to. I mean the mental disabilities and other issues he has been dealt in life was enough on his plate but then to have this terrible illness with tumors hit him this year. WOW is all I can say. And through it all he still remains the sweet spirited young man I so adore.
Many of you have emailed and asked if things have changed in the family trials.. No.. nothing has changed.. and even though all of all he has been going through and trials of him not having his sisters in his life he continues to try and deal with that.... and I must say for the most part he does well. He never even speaks about Sara anymore last thing he said about her was Mom she is just a lost cause. (oh the wisdom this child has been given) When he first got ill and knew about his tumors and all he was going through he did pray at night Amanda would contact him. Yet, she never did so he said the other day well I know now she just does not love me at all anymore and does not care if I live or die. He said so be it!!!! (just broke my heart he had tears streaming down his face as he said it) so even though out of his mouth he was saying it is finished, in his heart he was feeling something else. He said I was hoping to see Haley one more time before I die. I said sweetie you are not going to die anytime soon and I pray you see Haley again someday also.. Then he picked himself up and said, Mom thank God we have the Yearsley's for "OUR FAMILY" and I said yes, Bubba indeed we do. I said God knew we would need some family in our life so he blessed us with a Wonderful Family with them. And they love and adore and accept Bubba for the way he is despite his disabilities, anger, outbursts and all. They love him for HIM... just the way he is the way that GOD MADE HIM..
Last night he was talking about Patrice having the baby (she is like a sister to Bubba) Cooper was due a couple of days ago, so he should arrive anytime now. She has a boy named Nathan whom Aaron is Uncle Aaron to. And now he said I will have 2 nephews Nathan and Cooper. So even though they are in CA and us way back here in Oklahoma we are still a big part of their life and always will be. Hey that is what TRUE FAMILIES are like. And as I always have said you don't have to have the same DNA to be family..
So to me I will have another Grandson born anytime. I do wish I could be there for when he is born but I know I can't be so I will have to wait for pictures.. (smile)
I love my(adopted Yearsley sisters) Pam, Penny and Pat.. Penny is getting married in June we would oh so love to go to CA for the wedding.. Continue to keep Mom Evelyn in your prayers she is still having chemo and radiation for her Cancer and is having a rough go of it as of late. Bill had his heart surgey and seems to be doing pretty good. We miss you all and Bill's Special Kids which was oh such a LARGE part of our lives in CA..
We pray someday to be able to come back to CA and be a part of Bills Special Kids again but right now we have to concentrate on Bubba's health and getting him graduated. He is doing so awesome in school.. Still being mainstreamed for the majority of his classes and even though he was out alot because of surgeries and treatments he has made up the work.
So continue please to keep us in prayer.. As we continue to struggle not only with the daily life of Autism and Bipolar but also for his health from this past surgery.
GOD IS GOOD.. Hugs N Prayers to you all...................
Here is Bubba with Nathan.. when we flew back to CA for the wedding last year..
Easter 2010
Had wonderful Easter services at church this past week. There were 163 people in church awesome!!!! Some people say well a lot of people only come on Christmas and Easter, well I say anytime you can get them in there is good cause it gives them a chance to hear the word of God and be saved. Bro. John the Pastor made a comment one day no one ever takes his picture while preaching so I took his picture.. (smile) After preaching there were 2 baptized. Then all the kids went outside by the church for the EGGsplosian we had filled about 1500 eggs on Thursday night at the church for the kids. They sure had fun. I got a new picture of Bubba with his best buddy Elijah and the Bunny that Bubba bought him for Easter. This baby can always make Bubba smile. He so loves kids.
Here are a few pictures from Sunday
