Surprise Visit

Last night our doorbell rang and we found Norm, Arlene and Nolan on our doorstep. It was so nice to see them all. Arlene had been in my daycare when she was a baby and then when Mr. Nolan came along I had him in my daycare when he was just 6 weeks old. So I have watched them both grow up over the years. I took some pictures of Aaron with the kids last night and I will also post one of Aaron with them when they were younger too... It was so nice of them to stop by and say say goodbye to us. I love them all very much.. Sad and nice time all rolled into one...

This was taken Christmas 8 years ago....of Aaron with Arlene

Sunday was our last day at Redlands Church since we are moving this next week. Several of us went to lunch, Aaron had called Gramma and asked if she would like to go also she lives around the corner from our favorite place to eat.. Here are some pictures. Mom wanted me to take a picture of her with the Wiggins also.

I am behind in posting.........

Last week I took Aaron to see my Mom, his Gramma..

Fond Farewell

On Sunday there was a Potluck at Church and they had honored us by making it a Lockwood Potluck Farewell Dinner. It was very sweet. We wish to thank "ALL" of you who stayed to wish us well. It is times like that you see who really does care and love you and those who will miss us. (smile) it meant a lot to us. We wish to thank those of you for the BEAUTIFUL cards and gifts for our new home. How very sweet of you to remember us in this way. We shall miss you!!!!!!!!! I shall keep all the cards and when I am homesick for California I shall read them all and cry again. God Bless you all....

We took a few pictures..

Our Wonderful Thanksgiving

We had a great day with our "Special Family" the Yearsley Clan. As always Bob outdid himself on the Turkey as you will see in one of the pictures below it was 28 pounds he cooked it on the Bar B Q was so so juicy and flavorful.. YUM YUM...
Nathan was adorable kept wanting to play the Wii with Uncle Aaron he would tell him lets do it again. He is so so cute. I love that kid so much !!!!!
Aaron took my picture with my "SISTERS" Pat, Penny and Pam I am so happy they have included me as being one of their sisters.
(I am so lucky) cause I was picked!!!! (smile) I had bought Pat and Bob a Platter at the Cracker Barrel on the way home from Oklahoma the minute I saw it I told Michael we have to buy that for them it was PERFECT!!!!!!
Penny said her and Pat could not fit in the kitchen at the same time cause of their bottoms being so big ha ha ha.. so I had to take a picture of that as well.. just some family humor. We do have a lot of fun!!!!!
Patrice made some wonderful things which included Homemade Apple Pie was great.. Wish I had a piece right now. I took a picture of it. Ben made some homemade Cranberry Sauce. They are so cute together. I am so happy they found each other. Ben is so good with Nathan and also he is so good with William and Aaron. WE THINK BEN IS FOR SURE A KEEPER!!!!!! Cannot wait for the wedding in May...
I will post some pictures of the day..there is also one of me and Evelyn.. She is doing so well since her cancer treatments. GOD IS GOOD!!! We had a lot to be THANKFUL this THANKSGIVING FOR SURE!!!!!!

Elnora Gaylers Service

We attend the viewing on Tuesday evening and the services yesterday at the Coachella church then the graveside services too. It was a wonderful service of the celebration of her life as a wonderful wife and mother.

I took a lot of pictures because Deanna asked me too so I will share some of them on here. The flowers were beautiful and it was nice to see some of the sister churches also send flowers.

Here are some pictures of the actual service.
Bro. Steven Ridings the Pastor at Coachella did part of the service and Kevin Parsons from Visalia did some of it as well. Matt Graham led the songs.
