Christmas Family Pictures 2009
We didn't get any family pictures done last year because we were in the midst of moving back here. We arrived here 5 days before Christmas last year. Hard to believe we have been gone a year almost already. Time is flying by. Anyway we went to have pictures done. Normally they guys put on suit and ties I said hey lets do casual. Now that I can get into a pair of jeans. (smile) So we did. The photographer asked if we could do some floor shots I said yep I can get up and down now I said 2 years ago I couldn't do that. Ha!!!! Amazing what losing 130 pounds can do for ya huh? So here are some of the shots they took..

Update on Bubba
We went back to the Oncologist in Enid they were amazed it had only been a month since his last surgery and it had grown back almost as large as it was in the beginning they had never seen anything like it before. So into surgery he went again this time they did a Lazer like treatment on it. Also a CT scan. We go back in 2 weeks. Bubba has been such a trooper through all of this we are soooooooooo proud of how he is handling all of this. THANK YOU LORD!!!!!
Please continue to keep him in your prayers..

Happy Tuesday Morning
We attended the Special Olympics meeting held at the High School last night. Aaron is going to participate in the bowling devision this month. In the spring possibly either do Basketball or Baseball. He is quite excited to do this. He really misses bowling with the Bills Special Kids Sports Group in California.
So they will practice today and Thursday after school and next Tuesday and Thursday after school. Then the event is on the 20th in Woodward, Oklahoma which is a little over an hour from where we live at. I will drive over and watch him. Dad cannot go because it is during the day and he has to work.
Next Monday the 16th, we go into Enid to the Oncologist for Aaron's next appointment since his last surgery. Please keep this matter still in your prayers. We are praying for wonderful results and that the medication is working.
I also have another prayer request. Please keep dear Evelyn Yearsley in your prayers. As you know she is like a Mom to me and Bubba calls her Grandma. As I write this she is in the hospital and has not been doing well. So please lift her up in prayer and her family as well. We love and miss them very much and wish we could be there for them when they need us. But our thoughts and prayers are ALWAYS with them.
Have a blessed day to all who read this posting.. Hugs

Elijah is best medicine for Bubba
Elijah is a baby who attends the church here in Alva he is 2 1/2 months old. Aaron adores him and has to hold him and talk to him each time at church. Since Aaron was not up to attending church on Sunday ( was in a bit of pain from the surgery etc ) Andrea, Elijah's mommy brought him over for Bubba to play with him yesterday for a bit. I must say seeing them together Elijah is indeed the best medicine for Bubba. He is soooooooooooooo good with babies and kids and loves them to pieces.. (smile) Aaron is indeed my GENTLE GIANT.....

Went to Arkansas and saw my Uncles
Mike and Aaron had Thursday and Friday off from school so we decided to take a little road trip (6 hours away) to see my Uncle Bill and Uncle Danny. It was great seeing them again. My Aunt Liz had a stoke last year and is still having some issues but is doing better and she looked good. Saw my cousin Tallulah and her man Stan who is such a nice guy. We had a great little visit and hope to go back soon and visit again here are a few pictures I took...My Uncle Bill has several acres, Michael and Aaron had a ball walking around and checking it all out..

Our week last week
Well it started out pretty good then Monday evening Aaron took his shower and complained again about something hurting him I had been telling him for a week or so to let me look but he is a teenager now and said he would be fine. Well he was crying when he got out of the shower and called me in to look at what was bothering him. There was a very large growth (like a mole) It had been bleeding also. I called the Dr the next morning she said she would put in a referal to the Dermo/oncology in Enid, OK. Because of our family history with skin cancer we do not mess around with these things. I have had cancer 2times and Sara had it when she was only 5 years old. Aaron had one removed about 18 months ago but we got it in time. So they called me Wednesday afternoon and said to bring him in on Thursday so off we went to Enid. But not without complications first. We got up to go and went out my tire was low. We had a nail in it a few months back and they patched it. Well we went to fill it up with air. Halfway to Enid it went flat again. So as soon as we arrived in Enid we had gotten there early thank the Lord. Well we found a tire store. I could not afford 4 new tires right now so just replaced the front ones that day as it was they were 260.00 ouch had not planned on that expense for the day. Oh well knew we needed them will go back in a month or so to get 2 news for the back. So after that we went to the Oncologist. They did do surgery to remove it and then sent it to Pathology for a Biopsy they said would take about 10 working days for results possibly. So please keep Aaron in your prayers poor kiddo has been dealt enough bad cards in his life without this on top of it.
Will post more when I learn more.. Thanks in advance for your prayers..
